Yet, God is at work, God will bring justice appropriately in His time and in His way, and God loves the Native American people just like He loves all people. The things that happened to Native Americans do not make sense from our perspective. I share this example because, while the Israelites were in slavery the story did not make sense from their perspective.

Later God delivered them and the nation of Israel went to their promised land and at God's set time, Jesus, the eternal deliverer and savior came. God used that event to ultimately save Abraham's family (of which later would come Jesus.) But after Joseph the Israelites became slaves of the Egyptians and lived there over 400 years. God is at work! His plans and purposes will be completed and they will include Native Americans and people from every tribe and nation in His eternal Kingdom.Įxample: Joseph, the great-great grandson of Abraham was made a slave in Egypt.

God's Story of HIStory includes the Native Americans of the past, present, and future.

While it does not make sense why Native Americans way of life was removed for many from our perspective, I still trust God. The injustices that have occurred against the Native Americans will not be left unpunished just as God's justice will come upon all injustices throughout world history. Question: God's Story - Why did God allow the advancing United States nation to do terrible things to Native Americans, force them onto reservations, and their way of life to be taken away?
